ESC Cable Weave.

Use a blade to cut open.

Reweave the signal cable make orthogonal in order to reduce noise.

And burn the SimonK firmware at the same time.

Function Check.(2012/12/16 update)

HeadFree: Works fine.
Altitude Hold: Work, but not well enough. It need more tuning.
Position Hold: Usable.
Return To Home: Not been tested.

I want recording video, but only my one person.
The helicopter is not stable enough.
I thought hand on control better.

Return To Home:Works fine.
Altitude Hold:Better then before.
My skills are not well, I can't landing fluently.
Sometimes hurt propeller.

Now, I can use android phone link bluetooth module to tune parameter.

Last twice fly test, used 8038 propeller.
I already tried the 9-inch(APC 9047) and 8-inch(APC style 8038) propeller. I think 8038 is to small. Next time will change back 9047, And I will bay another, like 1045 keeping test.
APC are very good, but expensive. I want to find higher C\P

To Fly A Quadrotor Into The Treetops.

    This is 4th time fly test, I did some code and parameter tuning. Bad results, I fly a quadrotor into the treetops. Jammed height is a bit too high. When I'm in trouble that how to get it back. Little boy gave me a long bamboo. I use bamboo to got it down carefully. Fortunately because treetops buffer, just only a little damage for propeller.
    I just want to deal with this, didn't take a picture. Picture is after back home.

Er9x, FrSKY and MultiWii Telemetry Sensor Integrate.

Used resources on the network, I integrate the sensor output show on my R/C transmitter. Thanks for the resources provided by the parties.

Target's battery voltage and RSSI show on my R/C transmitter, and it had function to set alerm for low voltage and low RSSI. I didn't need any more low voltage detector.

Target's latitude and longitude and altitude show on my R/C transmitter. It's useful for check that GPS is lock or not. Don't need check laptop or LED from control board.

FrSKY D8R-II Plus Firmware Upgrade To D8R-XP With CPPM 27ms.

My receiver is FrSKY D8R-II plus.
Today, I uploaded the firmware to D8R-XP.
(I search from internet. D8R-II plus & D8R-XP hardware they look like the same.)
Why would I want to do this?
That has several advantages.
First, I want to use CPPM between receiver and control board, only one cable transfer CH1~CH8 signal.
Second, I can got RSSI for signal level.

Because the FrSKY had some issue on CPPM mode, in this reason, I suggest don’t use more then 6 channel on CPPM mode.
You can see D8R-XP user manual on FrSKY website, the user manual say “CPPM channel can not handle all eight channels at the same time with all throws are maxed out, as it does not have enough frame gap. It is recommended to use at most six channels from CPPM channel while leaving off the rest two channels, otherwise improper performance might occur.”.

I use USB to TTL element, FTDI chip, work very well.

My Quadrotor Helicopter.

    This is my 400mm size quadrotor helicopter. Due to the still testing, the wire had no arrange and no cut out.

    I had manual control R/C helicopter only once experience many years ago. I think is difficult for me. I use firmware MulitWii 2.1 in my quadrotor, all parameters default setting. MulitWii default setting well done, In addition to the slight oscillates in the wind for my quadrotor.

    I flew three times this holiday season, is a thrilling flown! I could control in a simple environment gradually, but landing.

    Because of my lack and this frame too fragile. the landing gear broken down.

    During three times flying, only landing gear broken, is good news for me and good news for my money. I will use landing gear of 450 size helicopter replace it.
